notice to attend mtg at OSB
« on: February 19, 2015, 03:58:44 PM »
Nearly at the 9 month discharge point. Have attended counseling and made all submissions on time as required. Trustee has been distant and quiet all this time and has never answered the one question I asked. Recently received letter from trustee asking questions and saying answers were "urgent". Letter was followed a few days later by a telephone call about the answers to the letter's questions. Then I received a letter instructing me to attend a meeting at OSB. Does this happen for every bankruptcy? Does this mean the trustee failed to do something? Does this indicate that something is going wrong with my discharge?

This sounds unusual.  Was the letter from the OSB or the trustee? Did it mention that it was regarding an examination, a meeting of creditors or
mediation? If the trustee isn't answering your questions, call the OSB. They might list a local number or an 1-800 number. I'd try them both.

I have been giving this situation a whole lot of thought after reading your comment NotATrust-E and believe it in my best interest to seek legal counsel at this time. Thank you for your observation.
