Income Tax
« on: January 12, 2014, 09:30:56 AM »
I have been paying payments to the trustee now for 36 months.    I have not received my discharge papers yet When I claimed bankruptcy they filed my income tax, pre and post.  Last year I filed and owed money to CRA which I paid.  This year I will be getting a refund. Am I allowed to keep refund or does it have to go to the trustee

The refunds are yours unless you authorized the trustee to take the funds, according to section 67(1)(c) of the Act.
